Made from a recycled blue paisley quilt, with camel faux fur collar and cuffs. Designed with a structured shoulder and boxy fit, ending just above the knee. It has a cream and blue patterned lining and closes with 5 recycled buttons.
Annnd if you so wish, it is fully reversible!

Naturally dyed with plants
All my socks and scrunchies are naturally dyed - which is a 4 day process. Each natural fibre needs to be scoured on day one, and then treated with a mordant the next day. Then its plant dyeing time, which usualy takes a couple more days!
Each dye bath can be used a number of times, giving lighter and lighter shades until it is exhausted. Then the spent plants end up in my compost. Plant dyeing saves water and says a big no thank you to synthetic nasties that pollute waterways.
